353 Leica M3 No.1038996

Leitz Wetzlar, Germany, 1961. Rangefinder camera 24x36mm, black paint, with body cap. Single stroke version with second type strap lugs, from an original series 1038801-1039000. Back door is entirely anodized black (ASA to 1300, so probably an M4 part). One shutter blind has a repaired hole. A few minor dents/nicks on top plate, and vulcanite has been repaired on left-hand side. Paint of wind-on lever has a less shiny finish.
