Condition rating

Our condition rating is cosmetic.
Any technical faults as lens defects and function of shutters etc. we find during our inspection, we write as comments on the item.

But do observe,
all lots are sold in existing condition.
It is therefore very important that the prospective buyer, before the auction, very carefully examines every lot he is interested in to access the condition and quality of the lot.

Lots with estimates or starting price below 1000 SEK are not inspected as thoroughly when it comes to function and condition as other lots.

Please contact us during the viewing if you have any specific questions.

Any hidden defects must be made subject of a complaint immediately after the purchaser discovered the defect, but no later than 10 working days after the auction.

The items are classified with care by LP FOTO as a guide for the purchaser:

AA: New in unopened box.

A: Like new.

B: Very good condition (only small signs of use).

C: Normal condition (usual signs of use).

D: Outward surface very worn.

E: Very bad condition.

To be more specific we also use two letters e.g. "BA" which means it's good condition near like new. LP FOTO AB is not liable under any circumstances for any natural wear and tear, minor damages and defects due to normal usage or not usage or natural changes in natural materials or lenses.
